The first year students were the first to arrive at the hostel and of course they each choose the table that fancy them most. They placed their belongings on it and maybe decorate them a bit so it is "personalized"
A few days later, the seniors started arriving at the hostel, back from the semester break (while the 1st years are at school). Having taken no liking to the other unoccupied tables out of there, she decided to go for one she liked, one that was already "occupied". So she simply remove all the belongings from the table and moved it into her room.
Of course when the original "owner" of the table came back from classes, she is shocked to see her table missing and saw it in the person's room. And the "thief" simply ignored the person.
So, this is how "berbudi-bahasa" Malaysian undergraduates are. Shouldn't they have set a better examples as after all they are already "seniors"? Or being a senior means you have priority over everything.
