Marina Barrage on a windy day

We reached this place before 7am and no one was flying their kites (yet) because of the Singapore National Day Parade Rehearsal.

Saw this while looking tor the bus stop to get on the bus to go to Marina Barrage.

Then we saw this. My hands were sweating when I took this photo as I suddenly had a sensation of acrophobia.

After the last plane flew by at 730pm, people started flying their kites. It was a windy day and the people have no problem setting their kites free.

By the time the sky is dark, there is still plenty of people there as the kites have lights on them. I must be very out of date haha this is the 1st time I have seen lighted kites.
