Christmas Eve

Went jalan jalan around City hall. Saw many of these huge ballons - Wishing Spheres at the Esplanade and many people writing/drawing on them. Kiasu us sure go take part la. It is part of the New Year 2009 celebrations at the Marina Bay.

See this (from the Esplanade website)
Wishing Spheres
In December, we will be rallying the support of ALL Singaporeans. We invite you to pen your New Year wishes on wishing spheres at wishing stations located around Singapore. Each sphere represents a hope, a belief that the New Year will bring new possibilities and a brighter tomorrow. We will then mark your wishes by floating all your spheres on the Marina Bay – the Bay of hope and light.

Yo, i forgot to wish that I get my gold turtle soon.Maybe I should head down there tomorrow to do so before 2008 ends!

What happens after all the balls are filled with our ugly squiggles or creative art?
They throw it into the sea, of course!
Wei Que guy. Dono who he is, he helped us to take our pic and his friends forced him to take a photo with us. Look how bored he look...aiiii

Suntec city

Sasa and me doing what she loves best.

The night ends with a visit to Vivocity to take a glimpse at the tallest Christmas tree in Singapore. It was drizzling and quite cold.

The night is over for them but not me as I headed to Orchard Road, reaching there at 1156pm, for the damn crowded countdown. Very lucky that I was not sprayed with foam. Hate the smell~

Merry Christmas
